I can’t wait to try this recipe. Note on the wooden skewers, what
I do is get a 9 x13 pan and put an entire bag of the wooden skewers in
it, then fill up with water. Let soak for several hours and what I
don’t use I put in a zip lock freezer bag and put in the freezer, next
time I want to use them I just pull out what I need from the freezer.
Works great and they don’t burn.
Ingredients
- 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breasts
- 2 teaspoons kosher salt
- 1 1/2 tablespoons sweet paprika
- 2 teaspoons smoked paprika
- 4 teaspoons sugar
- 2-3 slices raw bacon, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
- 1 cup of your favorite BBQ sauce
